About Catie

Founder of MotherForm

I built MotherForm because the options women were being handed felt too small.

Too much of the conversation around women’s bodies asks us to pick between punishment and resignation. MotherForm was built to offer a third option: work honestly with the body you actually have, build capacity where you can, and move forward with intelligence.

Why this exists

MotherForm did not come from wanting to make women smaller. It came from wanting to give them a better way forward.

I built MotherForm for women who still want something from their bodies without wanting to make their bodies the enemy. Women who are tired of being told to “bounce back,” but also tired of being told that ambition, aesthetics, strength, physical goals, or effort are somehow inappropriate now.

The work sits at the intersection of movement, nervous-system awareness, rebuilding, recovery, capacity, progression, and identity. It is not about perfection. It is not about pretending motherhood erased desire. It is about building forward with more honesty and more skill.

Built from practice

I did not build this from theory alone.

MotherForm is shaped by years of movement teaching, yoga, nervous-system work, trauma-informed coaching, personal study, and hands-on experience guiding women through real seasons of change.

The point is not to throw every modality into one room and call it a method. The point is to use the right tool when it is useful, keep the woman in front of me at the center of the work, and refuse the lazy extremes that dominate so much of the wellness and fitness space.

Training + lens

Different tools. One point of view.

My background includes yoga, pilates-informed movement, reiki, trauma-informed coaching, and continued study around regulation, recovery, rebuilding, and the lived experience of women and mothers.

That does not mean MotherForm is here to be everything. It means the work is informed by multiple disciplines while staying anchored in one core principle: work with the body you actually have in front of you.

What I believe

You can respect your body and still want something from it. You can rebuild without punishing. You can move forward without pretending nothing changed.

Scope + boundaries

MotherForm is movement, nervous-system awareness, and rebuilding work — not medical treatment.

I am not a physician, physical therapist, or licensed mental-health provider, and MotherForm does not diagnose or treat medical conditions. If a woman’s needs are best served by a physician, pelvic-floor physical therapist, or another licensed clinician, that support comes first.

The role of MotherForm is to help women work with more intelligence, more honesty, and more care than the usual culture gives them.
